Foothills Children’s Advocacy Center conducts trauma-informed forensic interviews in a child-friendly environment, following a nationally recognized protocol. Specially trained interviewers engage children in structured, developmentally appropriate conversations to gather information about alleged abuse or trauma. Cartwheel partners with school districts to deliver virtual mental health care with no waitlists. Students can typically connect with a licensed therapist within 7 to 10 days of referral.

Our passionate and experienced counselors specialize in working with children and adolescents, offering culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to meet each youth’s unique needs. Using evidence-based and integrative approaches, we help youth build emotional regulation skills, process their experiences, and develop healthy tools for growth and resilience. We offer two counseling service areas including trauma counseling for youths up to age 18 and short-term teen crisis counseling for teens ages 12-17.

Children & Family
The Child and Family Services center provides prevention, substance use and mental health services to the children and families in our community. The goals of these services are to help families build resiliency and keep children/youth safely in their homes and communities when possible. Trauma-informed services and prevention trainings are provided in the communities, schools and in an office-based environment.
